Driving home from work the other night and the truck started to overheat. Pulled off the freeway and let the truck cool down. The wind shield started fogging up from the inside. I got a strong odor of antifreeze coming out of my vents. I am taking the truck to the mechanic on Monday to put in a new heater core. Not sure if anyone else with a 05 Dakota
has had there heater core replaced yet? Looks like you have to take the whole dash apart to get to the heater core. I will let you know how it goes on the repair.
