Default VERY slow automatic window speed?

Hey all...

I just wanted to know if this was normal. All my windows go down pretty fast, but they crawl when they go up.. Especially my passenger and driver side window.. You can stop the window from going up with the weakest amount of force... Is this normal?

I can take video if you need it!

Thanks!

I had an issue where my windows were slow, and two would occasionally not work at all or not roll up all the way. The dealership replaced the regulators for those windows and it seems much better now.

I can deal with it, it's just...I've never seen a window crawl up before.

How much should it run to get this fixed by the dealer?

There was a problem with 05~06 slow windows but there was a programming fix back then. It was a actually a TSB for the problem. My 07 are not as fast as my buddies 07 Tundra but not real slow either. I wish our auto window had auto up and for both windows like the Tundra.

my passenger window crapped out, i had to replace the whole assembly, really simple, remove the door panel an there are 5 or 6 bolts, i cant remember. 2 bolts clamp to the window. the whole assembly was 56.00 at the dealership. there is no ajusting at all everything falls into place.

I forget where I found it but there is a TSB out there for the windows rolling up extremely slow. They're not super-fast to begin with but what you're describing doesn't sound normal at all.

My passenger window goes up slower than my drivers side. It's been that way since I bought it. I assume it's normal.

a cheap fix is to spray the window track on both sides with Silicon Spray Lubricant.
it worked for me.

The dealer said they charge a $40 diagnostic fee... He suggested (like you guys did) spray the track with a lubrication spray that is NOT water based.

If I remember, I'll post you all a video on my window rolling up.
