My 06 Dakotas bull bar

 

Im custom fitting a bullbar from a fullsize chevy at the moment. I got it for free. It looks pretty cool. I just gata find a good mounting point on the top of my bumper

 

Yeah, I'd call it more of a "calf" bar...

It does look nice on your truck though...


I know a guy in the Ram section bought this one off ebay, I've seen it in person, nice bar, quality seems very good. I have the Warn Trans4mer grill/brush guard on my truck but plan on buying one of these and putting it on my Grand Cherokee this spring.

Did anyone have to do any cutting to make the bull bar fit on an 05 and newer Dakota? Is the any other problems I should be prepared to run into during the installation? Just ordered the bull bar and I'm waiting it's delivery.

Should not have to cut anything except the body mounts if they give you trouble. Search for bull bar and read some existing threads.

 

Got my bull bar installed. Body mount bolts were a pain. Ended up welding a nut to the top side and using an impact. Took about an hour and a half. Looks great.
