so do you not think that it would be a good idea to put it on a dakota? i was thinking that with a few modifications it would look really good.

Hell yea it would be a good idea to put on a dakota. But what are you going to do, chop off 8" in the middle of it and weld it back together? How much wider are the Ram bumpers?

i am not sure...i am taking the design to a guy that got introduced to me by a coworker. he make him a bumper for his jeep, and he said he has the machines and skills to make me a 3 dem bumper.

WOW! That might be the sharpest dakota I have ever seen, no lie. That thing is awesome, and everything on it is done with good taste.

maybe something not like that but i plan on getting something close to that. what do you guys think about having the wench installed on the bumper?

also do you guys think i should get it painted to match the truck color or do you think it would look ok in a dull black color?

i personally like the black look, but its got to look good to you... if you do a winch, make sure you build some good brackets and bracing, and is also a good idea to brace up the frame mounts so nothing moves on a good pull
