Default RC leveling kit

Hello, I saw on rough country website the 2.5" leveling kit for 2005-2010 dakota works for both 2wd and 4wd. I thought a 4wd should not be lifted more than 1.5", like the trailmaster kit, because of CV joints and other things. is this true?

its all preferance for the most part... i added to my leveling kit, yes the cv's are at more of an angle, but its something im willing to deal with... they arnt hard to change, and not extremly pricy so im not worried about tearing them up, all on what you want to do...

Also depends on where and how you drive

If you do lots of off Roading the Joints will wear faster (vs) city driving.

i just ordered my a few days back and it should be arriving soon. but on the other hand i am also installing a new bumper like dodgetrucker75, so that will bring it down about .5 to 1 inch...that should assist in the angle right?

I'm thinking about doing this too. Stupid cv-joints... I don't want to tear them up, but it would be fun to lift it a bit and take it off road.
