In the last month my truck has done this to me twice,
I'll start the truck and it starts but the starter continues to turn over. not that pretty sounding, I just kill it instantly and refire the truck and its fine.

Any suggestions?


if it does do it again - to the dealer I will go.

 

my truck did that too but it would only continue to turn over for a second or 2. But it stopped doing that.

 

I would dissassemble the starter and lube the shat the drive rides on.
