Default 4wd low ratio?

Anyone know what the 4wd low ratio is? 05 Dakota 4.7 4x4.

I am just curious because i was pulling my buddies Jeep liberty out of a ditch and had to go into 4wd low and man it was a torchy little bitch. LOVED IT! pulled him right out!

I'm not sure, I think it's in your manual though. It also depends on your axle ratio. I think if you multiple your 1st gear transmission ratio X T-case low range ratio X axle ratio, you get what they call a "crawl ratio"

just some info for you! And yes, it will throw your head back in 4 low. I pulled my cousins 2500 cummins 4x4 out of the mud the other weekend. Didn't even shed a tear!

Default Here Ya Go!!!!

Low Range Ratio is 2.72, so:

Transmission Gearing With 5-Speed Automatic =

1st. 3.00

2nd. 1.67

3rd. 1.00

4th. 0.75 - Overdrive

5th. 0.67 - More Overdrive

Multiply 2.72 times any of the gearing shown, however, I don't think anybody will be using low range for highway cruising.

Low gear only for tree stumps and such!!!!!!!!!!
