Here's what I did: There are two wires that go to the coolant temp sensor. Use a voltmeter to test which wire is the ground, and power. Piggyback off of the power wire for the voltage source (sending wire). Then, find a switched 12v source (power wire to the gauge) and ground to the chassis (preferably where other grounding wires are grounded to the chassis).

Thanks bro but I ended up getting one of the adapters to fit where that allen bolt is on top of the thermo and i used the temp sender it came with. I'm also going to use the new temp sender for my SPAL. I have the dual guage pod for the A Pillar all done. I used a universal dual gauge pod and cutt on the o **** handle, then I fiberglassed, bondo'd, primed, and painted it. I'll post up some pics once I install it tommrrow. Just waiting for the paint to cure I'll also get some pics of my Dak up.
