Maybe take the black from the hood and follow the body lines down the door a bit to tie the hood in to the rest of the truck. Start off with a thick line going from the fender line to the a-pillar, and take it back and end it with a point.

Personally I don't think it would look right with a black hood, I say all color match and maybe do some black accents or stripes or something around the scoop.

Thanks Altair! Man, the possibilities are endless when the paintbrush is in my hands... I just want to do it right. Just in case anyone forgot, my grille is aftermarket and black, and my grille housing I painted black. Soon bumpers will be black as well. I kind of like the all black one, or the middle one with silver scoop, maybe I could throw a black mopar 'M' on the middle All I know is the hood is ready for me to pick up as soon as I'm back in Omaha, and I won't be very patient when it comes to slapping it on...

No problem, if you can get a picture of your truck at the same angle as one of those pictures I could try and chop the hood onto yours this weekend (similar lighting would help it look more realistic too). I have a stuck front brake caliper so I won't be going anywhere till the parts come in and my rotors and pads won't reach me till next week. Thank god my boss drives right past my place on the way to work so I at least have a ride in.

Blown has got me thinking of black hood and silver scoop... or silver hood with black scoop. If it's a silver scoop I may get this. Give me honest opinions yay or neigh if it's too 'loud' or if you like it.

Never mind, after much pondering and imagining I don't like the decal and I think I want silver hood with black scoop. I'd still like to see a photoshop of that though!

thats what i was about to say, not a big fan of just a black hood on there for no reason, i think it would look like u just ordered it and never got it painted, but just making the scoop black would look awesome

Just paint it silver. If it's a factory color match, you will barely be able to tell the difference. Clay bar the rest of your truck when you get it back (but not the new fresh paint)
