No front middle seat for many of us.

Thanks

Every day I put aside some time to check over my thoughts and see if I can make any improvements. What I want is just like I had on my old Shelby Daytona, a good clean sounding system, that can get pretty loud, but still be clean and fully hidden.

I make sure when I am pulling up to my destination, I always have the tunes off so no one will be the wiser.

The fan, if I do need/use one, will be behind one of the rear seats in the corner. Not fully sure where, as I have a few options. It will have a small flex-tube running under the rear seat and blowing over the amp on one end. The end will not be round, but more like a "crushed" tube and flat like in shape.

Depending on how the temps are, I may modify the ends of the amp so that airflow can not only go over it, but thru the end on one side and out towards the other end. It will have some clothe over the ends, to keep out dust. Just a gentle flow should be enough though, as the amp is 2' long and has lots of surface area to dissipate heat.

Again, this is an as-needed option only. I have enough work as it is. lol

Not really into the whole sub under center seat thing. I have the split-bench and don't want to be bothered with the extra work. If it sounds bad, the I will maybe try it, or maybe turn it over to a Pro to do.

I thought about changing the headunit. The thing is I want a stock-hidden look. Even the EQ will be out of site.

I am not worried about a clean signal, as I am running a EQ/Line Driver that puts out 7 volts. This way my gains will be very low on the output converter, and little distortion will be introduced this way. The cleaner it is coming in, the cleaner it is going out.

I'm not doing a competition system, just trying to do the best with what I have gathered. I get carried away at time, and end up 10k into a system, but this time I said no way I am going over 3k. I "may" be over.....but I am not going to add it up to find out. lol
