Angry New brakes making bad noises!

My 05 dakota needed new brakes so I picked up a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads on ebay. Put them on and the drivers side started making all kinds of noise, even when the brakes were not being applied, and much louder when they were being used. Not normal brake noise either, but metal rubbing metal in a bad way. Also a rotational clicking noise when coming to a complete stop. The brakes didn't come with any clips to hold the pads into the caliper, so we took the pads off and put some brake silicone stuff in to hold them in, thinking that was the problem. That worked ok for about 20 miles then the same noises started again. So I ordered a brake hardware kit which had the pad clips, and also switched to a new set of semi-metallic pads. This worked for about another 20 miles, now the same noises are back. Any ideas? I did make sure to spray everything down with brake cleaner after each time working on them. The rotor looked a little funny though, like the pad was sitting a little ****-eyed or something, not sure how that is possible. The passenger side makes NO noise at all, works great. I am not that knowledgeable about brakes, and I am getting frustrated so I will probably just take it to my mechanic.....

I would start by making sure every nut and bolt is tightened properly I've never done my rotars but if there are any snap rings make sure they are seated properly before you bring it in if you've tried this then disregard my post lol but prolly something overlooked

I installed ceramic brakes on my caravan, and they make noise on a normal basis. i was told that was normal with ceramic brake pads with regular disc brakes. my stopping has not been afected.

I don't believe there are any snap rings anywhere. The entire setup is actually very simple, which is why I am frustrated that it doesn't work correctly, as I am not really sure what the problem could be.

This noise is definitely not normal. Its a very bad metal scratching metal type of noise. And the passenger side is completely silent.
