It is a pretty hopeless battle. I have the v6 the intake and exhaust were both noticable. The e-fan i couldn't tell at all but it does help your mpgs without a doubt. I would shy away from the headers just because i think they wouldn't sound to good. some one mentioned B&G i talked to them for a few weeks but they couldn't give me any promises in HP. It is alot of money with no for sure pay off. I would stick with the fan, intake, exhaust (cat-back) setup.

To bigjayzway:

By Cat back we are referring to upgrading the exhaust from the catalytic converter(although not all people go the extra mile and replace it) back to the tip. Huge gains can be found in this upgrade area depending on the vehicle. I am considering it because on my truck in particular, there are three resonators on my exhaust line. Time to set it free!

Well I think I am going to do the exhaust on mine. I am just wondering if I should go 3" or 2 1/4"?
I am trying to get a better sound from the 3.7L as well as better gas milage.

I think 3" would be way to large for the 3.7L

I don't think they make a chip that supports our 3.7's

I have an 07 4x4 3.7L 3" on mine from the trany back with a 4" tip. It came on the truck when I bought it so I don't know what kind of muffler is on it (no markings) but it sounds good

I got the 3.7l too, I hate the throttle response. All I have done is a exhaust. Really want to get a CAI and such.
