Ok, I just replaced the tranny on my 2006 Dakota. It is a 42RLE transmission. After completing the install, the truck will not go into gear. The gear shift indicators on the dash are all lit. I have read something about having the truck reprogrammed (the PCM/TCM). Will this possibly be the reason the transmission is not engaging? Or are their other possibilities? The shifter cable is moving on the transmission when I run through the gears. Any help would be appreciated.
