06 dakota fron end TROUBLE

Default 06 dakota fron end TROUBLE

Hello everybody I am new to dodge forum,

I have an 06 trx4 and have replaced almost the entire front end of my truck to the tune of about 7k. rack, tie rods, steering arm, all front 4wd parts except the front diff. etc. i only have 76k on my truck. has anybody else had so many problems. I love my dakota but it is hurting my wallet

Welcome to DF. If your constantly replacing parts you may have another problem. Like a bent frame or something.

I will move this to the 3rd Generation Dakota Sub-Forum.

The later model dakotas are known for front end problems. Have you gotten a second opinion? I hope youre not taking it to a dealership. Find a reputable shop that does chassis work.
$7k is a lot of money for a front end .....

Yea shops like to charge lots of money for front end work. Example: Pep boys wanted to charge me 900 bucks for changing a balljoint and rotors
