I sent an email to Trailmaster about a lift for the Dakota and got a response back that they had no vehicle to do a lift on. I actually volunteered to take my truck down to Arizona (I live in B.C.) and leave it there for as long as they needed it and then never did hear from them again. I was excited as it seemed as if they would do it, then nope.

Well we really only need a reliable lift for the front like 4'' or 5'' and we can use 3.5'' or 4'' blocks for the back with longer shocks unless the tacmoa prerunner leaf springs fir on the truck then we might only need a 2'' block or so. Chassis Tech had a 3.5'' and 4'' kit but I do not know what it includes and how it holds up. I have heard both good and bad things about them so I dunno

my truck is my daily driver. and i have been using it on days i dont need to drive it. which is why my long travel is taking so long.

i know you guys are all about show and shine lifts with blocks and stuff....so sorry to disappoint you but this lift with only achieve about 5" in the front and maybe 4" in the back and it most definitely wont use blocks lol. it will be all reservoir shocks and bypass coilovers with longer beefier almost everything. new tie rods, new upper and lower control arms, cutting holes in the bed. cutting off leaf spring hanger and moving it for new leafs. probably a custom driveshaft.

but than again. ill be able to go 80 over a curb and not feel it. i hate those bolt on kits because all they do is mess up your ride quality and limit your travel.
