TM spacer kit
The old kits USED to come with BOLTS, now the new kits have NO BOLTS.
You have to have the aluminum discs installed as spring spacers, no new bolts are needed.
If you install the kit with the longer bolts and old instructions, you won't get any of the benefits that the TM kit has over the other brand kits.
You want it installed as a simple spring spacer, a pre-loader for the spring, this will ensure your front suspension cannot fully articulate beyond what the factory strut would allow, thus saving your front end components from over extension.
So, if your kit arrives and it is from the OLD stock, it will have 3 bolts and nuts, with instructions that include using them. If that is the case, you have to go onto TM's website and print the new instructions.
The old installation instructions, with bolts, installed the kit in a manner that simply lowered the strut assembly in its perch. They discontinued this installation method due to damage they discovered, and negative feedback.
They created a new installation procedure, that is much better for the reliability of the front end.
Make sure you install it the CORRECT way, as a spring spacer, with no bolts required.
