swapping the stock shock nightmare?!?
im unable to remove top nut what to do?? i was pissed of at 11hnight...and bring them to a garage...i hope im gonna pay less than 100$...
you can make a tool if you have the supplies, take a socket that will fit the nut but short enough to allow the stud to stick through, then weld a wrench or something similar to the socket, then find a tool to grab the stud and take apart, but a spring comperssor would be a very good idea, otherwise you will have a bomb when the nut comes off with the spring pressure on it
thanks i tried to holt the stud with vise grip and a standart key wrench olds good on the nut. but vise grip keep stripping the stud...
its in a garage im gonna pay to have it done.
and yes i had the compression tool...

If so, just hit it with an impact gun while the spring is compressed. Even an electric impact will do the trick if you don't have one and a air compressor.
hit wit an impact gun compressed
dangerous but succesful!
i paid 40$ to have it done he tapped the tread on stud and took 5 minutes.
Rough country 2,5 leveling kit instaled in the front.
the back next...
