Default PCV Valve

Where the hell is it? My father-inlaw is trying to change it out for me while I'm gone (still deployed). He bought a chilton book and where its shown on the photos, The PCV valve isn't there! HELP!

It will be on the left side of the oil fill tube (when youre facing the front of the truck). It will be under a couple of hoses so you wont see it in plain view. Push the part of the PCV valve that connects to the hose 90 degrees down, and it will pull right out.

is there anyway you could take a pic of it? I've talked to my father in law and my buddy who are looking at it right now and can't find it. I copied this and sent it to them and they cant find it.

This is the best I can do from work. Thats the place where the PCV valve attaches to the oil fill tube.

my 2006 doesn't have it there either and parts stores don't even have it listed.
i've tried five stores now, but rock auto has them with no picture
