Gotcha. I would probably stick the money in a quality Efan and TB first, and see how you like it after that. Just my .02.

Does JET have a guarantee on their chips? Because if anything do the stage 2 and if you dont like it, return it.

If you can figure out how to get the tranny reprogrammed, it makes a world's difference. By far my best mod to my truck was the transmission tune from SC, and it just makes the truck fun to drive even though its not that fast.

Wink

I was looking on diablos website tonight, has anyone talked to them personally about the 3.7L? The reason I ask is that I saw they support the 3.8L jeep wrangler. Just hoping....

Talking Probably jumping the gun..

I may have found something tonight. Anybody heard of Unichip? They sell tuners and modules. Although dodge dakota is not listed, this was posted on their site:

"If we don't list a Plug 'n Play kit for your vehicle , remember that the legendary Unichip can still be custom-installed & tuned to your specific vehicle by a Unichip Custom Tuner."

I am going to call them or TD performance (who is listed as a local dealer) tomorrow. I will try to let you guys know something then. Cross yer fingers!

FYI, kit was $595.00
chip was $295.00
you could also get a MAP selector switch to change tunes for $75.00

Here is the weblink: http://www.unichip.us/

Talking Unichip. check this out 3.7L owners!

Unichip makes a chip for the 3.7! They said it needs to be installed by a tech and can be custom tuned (up to 5 maps) gains of 3-5 percent torque at both ends and 12 at top end (varies he said this is typical for most vehicles) Waiting for TD performance tech to get back from vacation.

3.7L is 235 @ 3600 so if my math is right, that equals 28hp! (give or take)
