I will be installing this https://www.speedtechlights.com/prod...?catid=4&id=95 when it finally arrives in the mail but in the mean time i am trying to plan the install for the display unit and power. Preferably I want to install the power switch on the dash along with possibly tracking to make the display flush mounted into the dash. I would like to know where there is room behind on the dash around the drivers side to be able to installa switch and display. Rather not tear it apart to find out there is no room for either.

For the switch you may be able to install it where I put my switch on the left side of the steering wheel. there is a far bit of room in this area to accommodate switches. and you might be able to fit that switch flush with a little creativity. there isn't a lot behind this area, but the plastic is not flat behind so some fancy trimming may be needed.

 

hmm pretty nice wherethat is though. I also am exlporing the center console I put a switch in there in the quarters slot but need to take the whole thing out so i can adjust it and get it tight and centered.
