Question Do I have this right??

Changing tranny fluid and filter. Drop pan, clean the fluid off my face, remove 2 filters?, replace 2 filters, rubber or cork gasket?, fill with ATF4 correct?? Thanks

Don't forget to put the pan back on.

and drive the round pop on filter gasket into the hole. cant just push it. it will come off and cause problems.

If the old gasket(s) dont come out with the filters, just use them over again. Its not recommended to try and fish them out, just remove the gaskets from the new filters and install them in to the old ones.

The trucks come with RTV sealant between the tranny and the pan as a gasket .... and most people use that. Napa has a gasket and filter kit though.

And install a drain plug while you have the pan dropped ..... if you're brave enough.
