Exclamation 05 dakota slt 4x4 lift kits

OK so I just got a 2005 dakota slt 4.7 4x4 last week, figured I'd save a little on fuel instead of driving the prerunner back and forth to work.....

So I've been checkin out the web for several days and the only thing I can find is a stinkin' 5.5" body lift at best, Here in sin city the hills in the desert can get a bit steep and I want my gear up a bit more not just the body,(took her out to test the 4x4 and a hill/gully my 98 could clear at stock height w/ 6-10 more inches in length no prob, the little girl drug the tow package on) anyone point me in the right direction to get the front up 6" or so and maybe 4" in the back suspension wise that is....

Talked to fabtech who did my big girl(6.5" up front, 2" in back) and they had nothing, they pointed me to 4 wheel parts who only have a performance accessories 5.5" body lift..... no way in my opinion, that's only going to get me a bigger set of shoes, not the clearance i need....

Any help IS appreciated...

Yeah Man been here since '80

And I do drive her daily, the big girls in the shop now anyways...

In All honesty I just want to buy a full kit and let my wrench, who builds CORE trucks, lift it for me.
If it was paid off and had no warranty I might jump on that though

Ah Well......Then it is what it is....
Appreciate the offer but I just can't jump on the idea of dropping $$ with someone I know nothing about to lift a 4x4... I don't want to "test" on my daily driver....

I lived in Vegas for around 16 years. Moved away little over 10 years ago now though.. Good luck on the lift but its going to be more work than anticipated.

i understand. but there is nothing for this truck. and probably wont be for a long time. but if your wrench builds core trucks than he should have no problem whipping a little something up

he should know some guys that make extended high angle CV's. once you get those its just a matter of extending the upper and lower control arms and the tie rod end...and if you wanna get trick. cutting off the upper coil mount and making a hoop with a cross engine brace.

similar to what we did when we cut the stops off, just offset them and put an extra brace in..

"he should know some guys that make extended high angle CV's."
That's actually what scared me, my wife's grand caravan has thicker CV's than the dakota's front end....
Any idea why they did it like that????
