Question insurance question

I recieved a letter that the seller did not tell me about today. Would you guys pay $130/mo for 18mo to have an extended 100000 mile/5 year full warranty? Full mechanical coverage? This is my first dak so I dont know what probs they are expected to have. Program Headquaters (SPD) OUT OF ST LOUIS

What is the year of your truck and how many miles does it already have on it? That warranty works out to $2,340 plus there may be a deductible for any work they have to do.

if you just received an anonymous letter in the mail warning you that your warranty is about to expire and to call this number now to extend it, it's probably a scam. $130 a month for any extended warranty is steep. Daks have their share of problems, but if your good with a wrench and use this forum to help, you should be able to take care of 90% of the problems yourself.

There was a scam in canada a while ago that got a bunch of people, don't know if they are related. I purchased the extented warranty from the dealership, cause i am planning on keeping the truck for a while. and making it a toy.

In my opinion, spending $2300 for a warranty is nuts. It's worse considering this is an aftermarket warranty, so I would smash the 'delete' button and move on.
