Battery saver????

Default Battery saver????

A couple of years ago i read somewere about a battery saver box thingy that you connect to your battery and when your battery is running out of power it disconnects the battery leaving your car or truck with enough power to start the engine. does anyone has heard of it? do you know where to find it? thanks!!

they sell them on ebay among other places i'm sure. search for battery saver.

thanks jkeaton! by the link you posted from ebay i found out its called "battery brain" and there are a lot of places that sell them. i have to read a little bit more on it because it says that it detects battery drainage and it disconects the battery. so that means that all the electronics in my truck have to be reset again....

hey j !! i was reading on the company page: they got like 3 or 4 different models, the one i'm thinking of getting is the gold model and it comes with a remote control that you can activate the unit and use it as a power cut off and the truck won't start. i read also that it cuts the power and leaves essential elctronics powered like the computer, alarm, radio etc. so it wont mess any setting on the truck. i fouhd it on amazon.com for about $65.00. also i found an adapter for about $10.00 that will prevent, in the event of a malfunction, the system from activating itself while the vehicle is moving! i think is a good gadget. :-)

they take too much space. and the idea of the gadget is not having to go thru the hassle of jumpstarting....
