where to buy caliper pistons

Default where to buy caliper pistons

hey guys i was in the process of changing front brake pads when i noticed that that one of the pistons in the caliper is busted. is there anyplace that sells rebuild kit that come with the pistons?

2005 dodge dakota qc 3.7 4x4

You might want to replace the whole caliper that comes with a new piston, instead of replacing just the piston. Of course that's depends on whether the piston walls are scored or gouged.

Any ideal how the piston got busted?

buy the caliper, ther are cheap. autozone, i think there are cheaper than the dealer.

thanks for the replies. i ended up buying a whole caliper at advanced auto for 40 bucks. i guess i couldnt beat that price.
