Default Mopar bed extender

I am looking at Mopar bed extender http://www.mopardodge.com/accessorie...edextender.htm

I have a question about installation. I have a factory bed extender(one of those molded ones) which limits my access to the bed for drilling etc. There are some access holes plus two rails on the sides. Has anyone installed one like this?

do you mean a factory bed liner? If you have a factory bed extended, why do you need another one?

Im guessing dakagain meant a factory bed liner. Normally with the mopar accesories, they are pretty good at noting when it wont work with another product.

For example, the mopar spoiler; when looking at the bed liners/spoiler, it will specifically state if that product is compatible or not with the other.

Just carefully read the description on the bed extender, and if it doesnt state anything about it not being compatible with a bed liner, then you should be good.

it looks like in the picture it is installed in a truck with a bed liner. You probably would have to drill some holes in and/or trim the liner for the mounting hardware. Unless your sold on a Mopar one, they have these things on ebay cheaper, saw an aftermarket one for 05-08 for $89.00 plus $19 for shipping and also the same one you have in the link for $227 with free shipping.

I checked the $89 one. It does not swing. It appears fixed to the tailgate.
