Trust me I have one. When I open the door the alarm goes crazy, I had to remove the headlight and horn fuses to get it to stop. Then when I start the car it will only run for a few seconds before shutting down.

Yup, you have a transponder.

One member on the forum had his truck broken in to a while ago, and they tried stealing the truck but it kept stalling on them when they tried picking the ignition.
