Default blower motor question

it has been high 90's here for the last month or so, I have been using my AC a lot lately. A few days ago I started hearing something that sounded like a fan maybe off balance or hitting something. I narrowed it down to my blower motor.. I think.. anyways its under the glove box.. has anyone else had a problem with this, and is it a much of a PITA as I think its going to be to fix it?

Haven't looked at the one in my truck but on the rams it's fairly easy to pull the blower out and take a look. Should be up in the passenger footwell, look for a few screws around the blower motor, on my dad's you just took those out and pulled it straight out. He was having a bunch of noise in his and when we pulled it open we found leaves and twigs in there. Apparently a chipmunk had found a way into the blower box and decided to build a little nest... go figure.
