I want to get an LED brake bar for my truck but i cant find any that are the actual lengths of my tailgate, they seem to be shorter than the actual length and also there doesn't seem to be enough metal hanging down to attach it to even if i were to get one. Anyone have an LED brake bar? and if so how big is it and how did you attach yours? pics would be awesome too! Thanks

 

my dad has one on his 2010 RAM and he put his on the bottome of the tailgate...it wasn't the same lenght as the tail gate but it was centered and it look really good! Cause i mean if you attach it there you can easily hide the wire!

 

I was hoping to get one of these after seeing them on a ram that I cruised down to the 4x4 show with this past weekend. He had one and it was pretty awesome. Not to mention it would help me avoid getting pulled over for tinting my tail lights, or prevent someone from running into the back of me. At least I hope anyways lol. He said he paid quite a bit ($400 i believe for his though)

 

You can get them pretty cheap too, it all depends on what you are looking for. Altair put one on his truck, but I think it was shorter hen the over all width.
