Default How to turn off DRL's

So yea, like the title said does anyone know?

Because the DRLs don't give enough power to power my HID's, so the ballasts turn on and off super fast. (which is probably ruining them)

So do I have to remove a fuse or get the dealer to reprogram something.

Thanks alot in advance.

you need to use them to trigger a relay and have the relay send power from the battery directly to the lights. its a common problem with out trucks that when u run hids they flicker unless u use a relay.

DRLs are a dealer-programmed feature .... otherwise I would probably have them on my truck just because I like being seen. You might have a problem getting the DRLs turned off though in Canada by a dealer with the legal issues.

i was gonna ask the same about the marker lights like my old 02 neon (DRL where in the markers) i know canada DOT states that we need to have lights visable all the time... it helps to be seen. truth be told on the high way you can really notice a car coming at you in the day time with lights on... this being said i dunno if they specify on which lights it has to be.

i see yotas with just the markers on so my guess is no if you find out let me know thx

The parking brake turns off the DRLs, just put it on so the the light is on in the dash
