I personally like the solid rear window, along with factory fog lights, the quad cab, v8 and 4x4. The SLTs are pretty well equipped, with the Laramies being the best. Some things I wish I wouldve got with my truck are the sport package (A painted front bumper; the gray plastic doesnt look as clean), a seperate center counsel with the overhead display, a manual transmission (Good luck finding one if it suits your interest, lol) and chrome wheels.

The sports package is basically like you said. Trim and Paint matched bumpers If you take a look at my truck, I have the sport package on a Laramie.

I got the SLT with Tow Package...power everything V8 with AC. If you can find a stick and know how to drive stick and like it try to find one tat would be a good find and worth it!

For a manual paired with the v8, you are going to have to look for pre 06 models. In 07 they did away with the manual for the v8 only offering the auto.

So true, look at the power wire for example....99 cents gets you 10 hp...$30-40 (or less) for a homemade cold air intake...10-15 hp...you've gained 20-25 hp and have not spent $100 yet...

Oh nice...I will have no problem doing those I modded my mazdaspeed 3 when i first got it; and as much as I enjoy driving a manual I think i'm going to go with an auto in the truck; the manuals seem to be extremely rare; and i've got my 6 speed in the MS3

you have a MazdaSpeed 3? not bad...my brother before he came to the truck side had a Neon SRT4 ACR and Said that he just ate those things up...best quote i ever heard about Mazda Speed 3...."why didn't mazda put a boost gauge in?" mazdas response...."hmmm...well we did not want the consumer to know how much their turbos are actually not spooling and not producing more then 4 pounds of boost!"

haha and i tore up a few SRT4's back in my day too Those things are fast i'll give them that...but they majorly lacked on comfort and handling on the auto-x track. And it actually was the throttle plate closing that was 'limiting' power in 1 and2nd gears, boost hasn't been sporatic for me, spools quick with the small turbo and stays there. The top mount IC was a neat idea, because most people would have no idea the car was turbo; though i've got a FMIC on mine and a downpipe so it definitely is not stock. Things got plenty of power though even with the throttle plate wonkyness i've never had a problem ripping the tires if i'm not careful...
