Default Finally got enough to start the project

Alright everyone i have been saying i am oging to throw 26s on the dak now for a while but i broke my wrist and have been out of work for 3 1/2 months now so i have been delayed..I have collected enough money to start the work to get the wheels on though and was wondering anyone who knows where i can find 4.11 gearing for our trucks,The only thing i have found is on http://www.4wheelparts.com/AxleBuilder.aspx . if someone can tell me if this is all i will need that would help out alot. i am about to be putting on the body lift so it will be the gearing and than the wheels..I might go with 24s though and put on some 285/40/24 nitto terra grapplers if i can find them for a good price..but as said any help would be great

Check over at Randy's ring and pinion... I've delt with them on Jeeps for years and they're always top notch and know exactly what they're talkin about.

I recently switched from 3.55:1 to 4.10:1 ratio. With the stock size tires, the 4.10:0 is just about perfect. With the bigger diameter tires on 24" or 26: wheels, you might consider a higher ratio, maybe 4.56:1 or 4.88:1.
You need the ring and pinion gears and the bearing/shim kit.

If you only have 2wd, there are 4.10 gears for sale in the classified section for a 9.25" diff for I think $120. No affl.

yeah i am a 4x2 and i think that if i went any higher than a 4.11 that would be a little much i mean the wheel and tire package is only 33.2'' over all diameter so i think i can do it with 4.11
