Clunking when turning the truck, while the wheel is turning, while taking off from a stop?

If its a clunking while turning and going over bumps (any time the wieght of the truck shifts) I would check your stabilizer links. CV shafts would start clicking or create more than just a clunk. You shouldnt have to replace them unless you see damage to the boot.

I ordered a new one from Oreilly. The new one was cheaper than the reman after the core. Its still going strong 10k later.
