Default Keyless entry freq problems

I have an 08 quad cab 6cyl SLT and live near and work on a navy base. My fob works at very random times. I found out it's because the freq's the ships put out from their radars and other equipment. What I'd like to figure out is if it's possible to change the freq my fob uses?

Talk to your closest Dodge Dealership. They reprogrammed mine for FREE! I don't know if they can change the frequency.

No, the frequency can't be changed.

OEM and aftermarket remote systems will have differing amounts issues with outside radio frequencies.

A friend of mine who I installed a security system for would call me every now and then because his system wouldn't disarm when parked at or near the base of the CN Tower, which is used as a TV and communications tower.

There are also "RF nulls", which are places where RF transmission either can not transmit out of, or if the receiver happened to be placed in that same spot would not receive. It's the weirdest thing, when you stand in one particular spot and your remote won't work, move 6" and it will, move back to that same spot and it won't work again, all while standing only a few feet from your vehicle. We had one of these spots outside of a place I used to work at installing Remote start, keyless entry and security systems. So try moving a few feet one way or another when you remote won't work.

I would suspect that because of the intensity of the signals being transmitted from the ships, that you will find that you just don't have much of an option.
