oh also found that my little adventure broke both of my sway bar end links, or so i thought. they were just hanging there looking broke in half, but come to find out the moog end links that i have just bounced the ball joint out of its housing on both sides. just took em off and put a lead hammer to em and wahlah, good as new

man, you certainly were not abusing it and it did that to the sway bar links? It's not like you were jumping or anything....the front end of these trucks really is junk! lol.

i like em theyve taken me some place. they ride smooth but after about 2 or 3 thousand miles they start getting a decent hum to em. some rub too, i had to yank the mudflaps

If youre not going Moog, then make sure to order sway bar links for the 08+ Dakota. They are improved and much thicker. Heres a picture of mine:

If youre in to big offroading, I would just remove the whole bar. Its purpose is to keep both tires planted on the ground, so by removing it you would gain a little more flex; and it wouldnt break again.

yeah im gonna take the bar off. the passenger side slipped out again going through a creek
