I actually did the seafoam thingy. Ran a whole can through the booster line. Smoked like all hell, but in fact, I did see a pretty massive improvement in overall mileage, driveablility and smoothness. Who woulda thunk..... (smokes like you simply cannot believe too!)

I bought mine with 90k odd miles on it, so I've been doing some basic hygiene here and there to bring it up to snuff.

My idle is much much better, though not perfect yet. I replaced the IAC, Temp Sensor and TPS. I'm gonna pull the battery next to let the control module get reacquainted with the motor. Then, probably doing MAP and O2 sensors after that. There is something that is still inconsistent that needs to be dealt with.

No codes are being thrown, so I think its just a slightly worn out or misbehaving part

so i took my truck into pepboys and had them run a diagnostic on it. they said my water pump is leaking, there is some problem with my harmonic balancer which may be causing the rough idle/shaking in park/at stoplights/signs, and the fan clutch needs to be replaced, also the engine mount is cracked. gonna take it back to the place i bought it from since i bought the extended warranty.
