Rear Drum Brakes

I've got just under 50k and my rear shoes are pitted and could probably be replaced. I took the drum off the weekend before last and cleaned everything I could and took sandpaper to the shoes and drum. This helped the squeal I get from them, but every now and then it chrips a little bit. I would say to beat the drums off and take a look, brake usage is hard to determine by using miles driven as a guideline.
Do yours squeal any yet? Have your replaced the front rotors/pads?

I heard them squeal for the first time yesterday but it was not too bad. I replaced my rotors with drilled and slotted one time and I'm on my 3rd set of pads. My second set of pads did not last very long due to being the wrong type with the drilled and slotted rotor. I'll try to find time this weekend to have a look at the rear brakes.
