Mostly plug and play but you will need a lockpick adapter from Coastal Electronics Tech to hook it up in the 05-07 models. So far as I know they're the only ones that make an adapter, also has the lockpick functionality built in. Those really bad near-standstill traffic jams? Much more tolerable with a decent DVD to watch.

Anybody know if on those MYGIG units there is a way to plug in an external hard drive from the center console or glovebox? I wouldn't mind putting a few hundred gigs in there versus the stock 30 they give you. Then I can load tons of movies and music on there!

You cannot add an external hard drive, BUT:
1. You can buy a 60Gb internal drive from some guy in FL (you really cannot go bigger than this due to the database structure used in the OS in the radio.
2. The newer (2009+, I think) have the ability to control your ipod through the radio.
You can buy a cable and put your Ipod in the glove box!

I have been thinking about making up a few 60Gb drives, but the 30Gb I have suits me fine.

WTEBOY703, SInce seeing your chrome 4x4 decal, I decided that I liked it in lieu of a bedstripe...so it is on the way

after a little more searearch, i found that supergig offeres an 80g hard drive @ $300,

i will also have to buy a gps antenna to get the navigation to work, other than that i have everything other than a digital tv tuner, which i think will also get ordered with the antenna and pass seat warmer next week, i cant wait for all this stuff to show up
