yup i agree as well...but we gotta wait and find out! if they are discontinuing it after this year they gotta have something coming up soon to say what will replace the dakota unless they are just going with the ram and ditching the midsize truck completely?

Amen to that! or a CTD! (edit #2: the 2.5 is diesel!)

and for the truck mentioned, give it the same suspension set up as the wrangler, so that it could be moded like the jeeps.

Oh ya and what ever they do give us 4 foot 1 inch between the wheel wells, so we can haul plywood or sheetrock with ease.

The title is just poorly written. That "," after RAM means that the article is about two things. The Jeep truck is the second story.

i noticed the title and i was just thinking if dodge is dropping the dakota then maybe the daimlerchrysler corp in general is using this to pick up the slack we all know its been a concept for a while but just maybe.... and fiat will have the mall crawler version for the moms lol

From what i read it basically just sounds like the dakota will be a little smaller with a ram front endish looking style! like you know the Baby Charger which is the Avenger...may be wrong on the name but i'm sure thats it. so we may just see the dakota with a ram from end or look wise with some old dakota features! idk gotta wait to see what happens and what comes out!
