here is the switch, when i get the pass side (hopefully next week) it will go to the right of the electronics (ipod) slot, a 3/4" hole was too small and a 13/16" was a little big to hang on tight, but the 13/16" hole with just a dab of pvc glue worked perfect.

just thinking out loud here, but does anyone no a power location that is hot with remote start and off with the ignition? right now the warmer is tied into the cigeratte lighter, which is switched with the ignition, but not the remote start, when i install the pass side, i plan on installing a relay triggered buy ignition/remote start, so all i have to do is remember to turn the switches on before parking

That would be awesome! The factory ones don't come on when the remote start or key start is used, of course they aren't your average on off switch either. The factory system is on a system all of its own also with a built in timing system that kicks the seats down a level until off... so if you start on high I think its 30 mins then it kicks to low and then another 30 mins it kicks to off and stays off.

What about the cig lighter inside the center console or is that the one you used I know it has constant power maybe off the ignition relay somewhere

nope, its power all the time, and like the one on the dash(what it's tied into now) they have very small wires, just one warmer on it is a bit of a consern to me, i bet if i pluged something inth the lighter, with the warmer on high, the fuse will vaporize

edit: some reasearch shows that there should be a pink/white wire in the ignition switch harness, that should have the signal i am looking for, time to get the meter out....

I believe that the heated seat wires are already inside the car, under the dash, regardless of whether you have the heaters or not. There should already be a fuse in the fuse box area for it. I'll look on AllData to see what the colors are and where it comes out.

I also ordered a set for my Dak as well. Should be here any day.

Nice install! Looks like I will do the same thing. Where did you end up purchasing them?
