yeah...and with the Autolites you bought i know mine came with new rings on the plugs as well...did yours? and glad everything is cleared up and running right! put in certain things you'll feel the truck run smoother and better! so yeah glad you took away from our experiences and knowledge and came out on top and love it!

I have the same problem on my 4.7 05.... Its throwing code about intermittent miss on #1 cylinder.. I changed the coil AND plug and its still happening...

Guess I have to go deeper into the ignition system, I have the autolites, and I too feel no difference.

NANOHEAD...hmmm check the gaping! and make sure everything is seated correctly and connected properly and that the coil itself is actually locked into the clip!

It could be the injector as well.

Default Dodge Dakota COP problem

The connector to my coil broke so I spliced the wires and connected them direct worked fine. Ordered the connector and when I put it all together im now not getting any fire. I use a multi meter to test wires and theres fire, but when i plug it into coil theres no fire. I plug the coil into another connector and it works just fine. Again wire has fire but when i plug it into coil the wire goes dead... Pleas help thanks

Sounds like the connector is getting juice but not enough to energize the coil completely to produce a spark.

What method did you use to attach the connector? Did you solder it?
