I think on some of the other models it was designed for a key'd airbag switch for being able to put a car seat in the front. ext cab and standard cab models etc etc. didn't they use the same bottom piece on durrango's also??

if you want a custom plate to cover that hole to mount switches in just let me know...

WAIT WHAT, what kind of grill guard do you have that let you mount a winch! I want one, or did you mod one yourself?

Yeah mine has a airbag switch, but it is a bit useless, because the switch in the seat has to have either no weight or lots of weight, or the airbag turns off automatically. At least this seems to be what happens in my truck.

Um, look at the picture below. It's made by 'Big Country'.

If you think you might end up in the long adding more swtiches (like I plan to). I was thinking of making a plastic strip (and painting to match the dash) and mounting it in the long vertical gap between the radio bezel and the cluster of gauges (sorry cant think of the term, ya know speedometer, tach, fuel etc.)

This is where I put mine. It's out of the way and super clean. And what is that space used for anyway?

My 06 did not come with fog lights. Someone hit me in the front and I had the body shop purt on the painted bumper with the fog lights and I paid them the difference.

If I were to buy the factory switch that has the button for the fog lights and install it where my switch is now, is the wireing already there behind the dash, or would I need to run new wire?
