yeah how do you adjust the headlights up and down?

Good to know, I thought that was the left/right adjustment because of where it's located.
I'll have to go out at dark and give it a try.

I assumed it was for the left and right also. My 2000 Dakota had an adjustment on top(vertical) and on the side(horizontal) as I recall. So I checked the manual and it says its the its for the vertical, there is no horizontal adjustment.

i thought it was just up and down no left or right?

yeahp what i tought because of what you told me Jkeaton! to easy! looks like i'll need a socket Torx for that too cause i dont see a screw driver fittin in that!

I just came in from adjusting my headlights, mine was a # T-20 torx and it was pretty easy to get at. the adjustment moves only the inside of your headlight up/down, not the whole light assem like the older lights.
turn counter clockwise lowers the beam, clockwise raises the beam, to easy.
Thanks again guys, great site, full of info and if you don't know just ask, someone on here will know or has run into the same problem.
