Default Mopar Remote Start

Hello All,
Does anyone have the mopar remote start with the seperate key fob? If so, I need to know what battery is used in it. I've lost the battery and there are is no other info on the fob about what type of battery to buy. I've tried to Radio Shack but they could not figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

I have no idea, but I can say most common flat battery is a 2032. if you look at the voltages of most of the button cells, for the most part they run identical voltage, just different physical size.

dont quote me, but I thought that they took 2 1220 3v batteries stacked. Ususally the number is stamped or raised in the plastic around the battery tray in the fob. Unless it is not one of the button cells, then it is one of two that look like miniture AA batteries. They are two differnt physical sizes, so you know which one to use by which one fits.

Likely Numbers are
2032
1220
lr21
27a
25a

I can believe that Radioshack could not figure it out. I used to work there, and remember meeting district managers, and the people that worked at the store in cape. Almost all of them were dumb as a box of rocks when it came to electronics, if the box did not say the answer on it.

Post a picture of it with a quarter next to it, Ill let you know which one it is likely to be.

I ordered a 5 pack from Amazon for $4.95 with free shipping. They arrived yesterday, I installed them and it's working. Now if I can just figure out how to get the horn to stop from honking when activating the remote start. It honks once when the key fob is depressed and when the truck starts it honks twice. Any ideas how to get this from doing this?

Considering the time of year... give me a few days and I'll reread the manual and see if it gives any hints...
