It looks pretty easy. Even a chance for a bit of profit if it is done correctly - donate it to something after costs are covered?

Lulu does all of the work for you, once you get the photos in.

Does anyone know how many sold last year?

But it looks like "plain old cost" depends on number of units sold, doesn't it. I'm not talking about walking away with a retirement fund, just a few bucks sent off to a good, common cause.

But I'm sure that would lead to another debate.

11 sold last year. Even if 100 sold, the price would not have changed. At that price, there was 0.00 profit.

i have got some cool ideas. i dont need to make any money on it, thats not what that is about. I have been looking at the lulu site and it looks pretty straight forward. I would like a nice calender. i didnt end up getting one last year. i had just started on the forum when it was all going on. for those who had them what was the worst part? just boring pics or poor quality on lulus part? i would like to get some pro photoshop done. i have friends in the industry that would do it for cheap if not free as long as we get them the pic soon so they can just do it in their free time

I think one of the biggest downfalls was the amount of trucks in the calendar. If we can find a way to incorporate more pictures per month more people might join in.

Also I would keep the new calender topic in the main area, not as a sticky, or in the general discussion section. Just keep bumping the thread if needed.

The calendar was very well put together last year. I agree with Reid, if we could find a way to get more pics into it.....I had no complaints other than a certain someone getting their truck on just about every d@mnn page...lets see...the cover, January, August, oh and look at that...December too!! jk..lol

looking at it it looks like i can get 36 pics in. i would try to vary the sizes of the pics so every page doesnt look exactly the same. i agree that if more peoples trucks were in there more people would like them. i am guessing most of the 11 sold last year were guys with trucks in it
