hi its wird my truck run fine...but when braking when i hit 40kmh i ear a downshift....and the rpm rev just a little... dont do that if not braking very hard....???? something is falling appart??? or i just notice it because my exhaust is loud????

 

spell check! lol....jk....my truck will downshift when I have the cruise on and going down a hill but that's the only time i've noticed it. what does 40kmh convert to in mph...you know us non-metric Americans...lol

 

20mph +or- .... ??? i did the recall about check valve in trans filter at dealership... and runs on syntec oil (total oil)

 

yeah, mine will do that it's downshifting into 2nd or 1st. my journey does the same thing. i figured it was normal.

 

mine does a good down shift while breaking from hyw speeds, and put the tow/haul on, and it really starts grabbing downshifts when ever it gets a chance

 

Mine had an aweful downshift at 35mph after I got the trans fluid replaced. Turns out the shop cheated me 2 quarts of fluid. Topped it off, had a word with the owner and all was well. Id do a reset and check the fluid.

 

just check the transmission fluid levels and if good then its okay...mine does the same thing from time to time!
