honestly. and ive done this alot. gas on a rag to whipe off the glue, water and soap to remove the smell and a razor blade to remove the tint. ive done three cars. two it was peeling and one where the p/o had went illegal with the tint and my aunt got a ticket. and afterwards you could never tell they had been tinted.
it came right off tho, no heat at all, it was a two layer deal, the tint and then a clear film between the tint and glass, just picked a corner with the razor and carfully pulled by hand, about 5min per side, nothing to it and no residue left behind

if its semi fresh. (ie under a few months) it should lift off pretty easy. I use a carpet streamer to pull tint from cars that I re-tint. I got it at wally world for like 60 bucks. works like a charm.
