Default OE window reg?

has anyone swapped manual windows for power with OE motor, regulator, and switches? just curious as it seems there are no good aftermarket kits out there.

There still are manual windows? HAHA! J/K.

I think it can be done. You can find universal power window kits that will work on youe truck!!! Good luck and show some pics and a d.i.y write up if you do it!!!!

Just did a small search and found this, just a start:

This is deffently something I have been wanting to do for a while now. I just dont know how much it will cost and how well it will work. But the ability to open the passanger side window from the driver seat is deffently worth it.

I am looking to do the same. I thought a universal kitmight work but not sure where to put switches and I heard that you still need to take it to the stealership to get them activated. But anyway, lemme know what you guys think about universal kits.

i work at a repair shop and have heard/ seen first hand that the aftermarket kits are just plain junk. the motors are ofter plastic and break within a few months.
i was thinking about finding the oe door panels out of a salvage yard with the switches and hopefully everything being plug and play. but now im more leaning towards aftermarket switches, as all doorpanels i have found are quite pricey let alone finding a whole set, with factory internals (regulator, etc.) and wiring up my self.

just wondering if anyone has done it yet.
