Default Blower motor pig tail/ resistor issues

When i first bought my truck my blower motor stoped working. The dealership repaced the resistor and it was fine. After a while i lost two of the four speeds but i really didnt mind it . Last summer it would just stop blowing all together. I replaced the pigtail and resistor and things were fine. It has now AGAIN things have gone down hill. When you look inside the pigtail you can see a definite burn/ melted mark in the center of the plug. Any ideas what would cause this? I dont feel like replacing this thing every 4 months. the resitor seems to be working fine since i replaced that and it is still doing the same thing.

Something isnt connected fully... sounds like a loose connection building heat...

if you have any "B" codes. The control unit may be no good...
theres not much in that circuit to go bad, goes from junction box to a/c heater control, to blower resistance control
if you sure its not a loose harness or dirty contacts in resistor plug, then i would look at the control unit
