had a code pop up today and said Catalyst failure left bank. I cleared the code and drove it another 100 miles and the code hasn't come back any ideas?

 

most likely a cat or an 02 sensor..it will come back on after 200 miles i bet

Did you just get a bunch of snow down there? Might just be some water that got in the connection. Easiest fix it to pull off the electrical connection on a warm day spray it with some contact cleaner and squirt some dielectric grease in it. I would wait for the code to return before I got worried about it.

 

yeah well i've noticed my gas mileage has gone down...and yes i used seafoam like 3000 miles ago...so idk gas mileage has gone down but no time to fix it...got NTC in 3 weeks for a month in california then when we get back i am taking my truck to my house in VA coming back to fort hood for a month or two then deploying to Iraq...and when i get back...hmmm without ruining it lets just say i'll be dropping in a motor where i can say yeah the decals represent the beast! :-) already got it planned just gotta wait for deployment money! lol forget it when i get home i'm dropping in a 6.1L into the dakota if my sister doesn't decide to keep my truck for her to use for H.S. and College...and if she does then it looks like my dakota days are over and i'll be getting a 2006/2007 STI or 2012 Charger. so we'll see when the time comes but i hope she doesn't want it so i can drop 6.1L of fury into my baby!
